Hi, I’m Jemma from Bodacious Blue and British Shorthairs are my love and passion. Along with the profound help of my husband and two daughters, I have been breeding British Shorthairs as a hobby for several years.
I only breed high quality, pedigree cats which are all registered with the Governing Council of the Cat Fancy [GCCF] – the largest organisation that registers pedigree cats in the United Kingdom. Our cats are also dual registered with TICA.
The GCCF has recognised the high level of care that is given here and to that end, has certified me as promoting responsible breeding. I am delighted to be part of the GCCF Breeder Scheme.
I have recently gained my pet selling licence and have been awarded 4 stars; the highest level attainable for an initial inspection. Our cats’ welfare is the very best and we are the only licensed cat breeder within Malvern HIlls District Council.
Located in the beautiful, rural Malvern Hills District, I pride myself on providing a high-quality service and offering a lifetime of continuous help and support, right from when you make your initial enquiry to when you take your kitten home and beyond.
I am a big believer in healthy and ethical breeding and breed my cats with the intent of improving the breed and to produce healthy, happy kittens.

Best Stud Genetics
Our British Shorthair, Bueno, is a proven stud producing plenty of quality chunky kittens. He is from the best lines and has excellent type and structure, reflecting the very greatest of the British Shorthair breed. With the very best genetics being passed onto the next generation, his kittens are guaranteed to be of the highest quality.
Ethical Breeding
Our queens are only mated if in pristine health at the time of being in heat, and are given only the very best focused care and attention to detail throughout pregnancy and birth. We offer an abundance of attentive care to both queen and kittens throughout their initial stages of life and development.
Loving Home
All kittens are reared within our loving home. We believe socialisation is key to their development and so the kittens are regularly handled by adults and children amongst our family and friends. They are also exposed to our gerbils within our home and friends’ dogs when they come to visit. We also ensure they are adverse to household noises such as the hoover.
